Kuching Bloggers in HfH Project
Remember we posted something saying about building a house is three days?
Finally we did it. One day only instead of three days hahaha… One day is enough to make most of us exhausted. The respond wasn’t very good. We ended up open it up to non kuchingbloggers.com member and our friends but majority that went there blog too! We went on the 31st August. A different way to celebrate Merdeka.
Anyway, let’s see what we did that day. We met at Sunny Hill at 8am but some were late hehehe… Still we all managed to reach there at 9am. We ended the work at around 3pm instead of 4pm. We were ahead of schedule, it’s surprising we could actually get work done so fast for beginners like us.

One the way to Kampung Senibong… There were 12 of us and in the afternoon left 6 of us as some left because they have other commitments to attend to that day.

When we reach Kampung Senibong, we had to drive about 6KM on the winding road and the about 600m of stoney road hahaha… It’s more suitable for a 4-wheel drive but we went with Kancil, Wira and Honda City *LOL* Such torture to the bottom of the cars, poor cars…

Finally we reached.

Work in progress but we didn’t do all these, we were only given safer tasks. Tasks like this are only for the pros. Safety is the main concern.

We must sign the Release & Waiver of Liability Form before we start work.

Getting ready… We were briefed on what to do and the safety precautions.

Then we were divided into a group of 3 to measure and cut the reinforcement bars.

There were two sizes one is size of your index finger and another one is the size of your pinky. Even though they didn’t look big, they are tough!

We worked under the shade most of the time.

After cutting the bars, some teams tried to saw some planks/woods.

Bending the bars that we cut earlier on.

The guys built another workstation so that more people can help in bending the bars.

At around 3pm, we done all the bar bending. It’s time to go home and it rained also. Such great timing.
